I've been thinking of names and thought Id throw them everyones way. Feel free to agree/mock/throw abuse. I was thinking about the whole group / double meaning thing and have come up with the following:
Horde / Hoard - a large group, multitude, number, etc.; a mass or crowd
to accumulate for preservation, future use, etc.
Herd / Heard - the common people; masses; rabble, the common people; masses; rabble, the common people; masses; rabble
to listen to; give or pay attention to
Flock - a large number of people; crowd.
Swarm
Gaggle - an assortment of related things
Dissimulation - to disguise (one's intentions, for example) under a feigned appearance
Convocation - group of people gathered in answer to a summons; assembly
