Hello jeff and everyone, I thought I'd make a comment about the name situation,
At the moment I'm liking levy levy.
Out of all the suggestions I think it is more succesful because it is not a single word, it is catchy.
I like the combination of repetition and multiple meanings but Im worried that it might be a bit too obscure.
There seems to be a lot of words on the list so far that seem to suggest groups, collectives or connections. Levy means a group of conscripted soldiers, but i think that the emphasis on group needs explaining.
I was thinking 'Tether Tether' - it looks really odd to write, the longer you look at it the more wrongly spelt it looks, and it means to join, so it suggests group? But people say "at the end of my tether", so it is associated with breaking as well - I quite like the contradiction, what do you guys think? Perhaps a loose connection?
It's the same kind of thing only with a different word, but I think there might be something in repeating words.
Anyway, I've said my piece, I know we haven't got much time to decide,
Matt

Im not too sure about levy myself. Im not suggesting any of my name ideas are any better or worse, but levy / levee (would it be the two words together or just the one?) just doesn't seem to work in my head as a name suitable for the group. Perhaps it will grow on me though, when I hear people talking about it out loud. At the moment its just in my head that it sounds wrong.
Sorry to throw a spanner in the works. Of course its not just my decision, at the end of the day, its just a name, and Ill go with whatever the majority decide on. It'd be nice to hear off other people from the group as well...
